Resting Bitch Face

I’m a bit upset by how most people are saying “Resting Bitch Face” instead of “Bitchy Resting Face”. Grammatically, they do not mean the same thing.

Resting Bitch Face = You have a bitch face which happens to be resting at the moment. If you happen to be smiling, then you are a Smiling Bitch Face.

Bitchy Resting Face = Your resting face looks bitchy. Your smiling face probably looks fine.

I don’t know why people don’t get this.

Bitchy Resting Face

In a sort of related note, 6 years ago, I was receiving my assessment after a work placement at Bournemouth Montessori Centre, when I was told I got caught looking moody at the playground while supervising the kids’ outdoor play time.

At that time, Bitchy Resting Face hadn’t been invented yet and I wasn’t entirely aware that I had it. So I had a hard time trying to explain that my face looks like that when I don’t smile. I was then told I should smile al the time.

Well, you try smiling 24/7. I still feel very upset about being misunderstood and wrongfully accused, 6 years on.

Gratitude

I’m grateful that I don’t have to work so I can’t be wrongfully accused of anything! That is the worst thing ever about having a job, honestly!
