About The Goonfather
An entire page has been dedicated to the Goonfather here because he’s a regular feature on my blog and because people keep thinking that he’s my father.
Duh.
Please note that the Goonfather is:
- My significant other
- My chauffeur, handyman, IT support, entertainment, slave, ATM machine (I wish)
- A goon
Here’s an old anecdote I wrote in April 2005 which will shed light on the choice of name:
In other news, the boyfriend recently acquired Patrizio Buanne’s The Italian. It’s made up of mostly classic Italian hits (including the theme song from The Godfather) and a few English oldies.
So, he was playing it in the car today when he suddenly said chirpily, “I feel like I’m the mafia, driving a black BM and listening to Italian songs!”
“Uh-huh,” I said, giving my usual enthusiastic response to his nonsense.
“Damn, this is cool,” he said, as he rocked to the beat.
“Uh-huh,” I told him.
“I am the GOONFATHER!” he said.
“That’s right, you’re a goon,” I assured him.
“Yah, my BM is not big enough so I can’t be the Godfather.”
With a boyfriend like this, who needs children?

Yea. I do play GTA. The first version on PC, then on Liberty City Stories on PSP, now waiting for GTA4 for PS3 which should be available very very soon.

I certainly hope he’s not sleeping with her either. Not because of looks, I’m not judgemental like that, but because she looks like she’s about 14 years old, and he looks like he’s about 30. And on a side note, how the hell does a 14 year old girl get to sit in on an exclusive Fable2 demonstration with Peter Molyneux himself? I swear all you need is to be a girl+a gamer+cute=get in to events like this.

Guys guys guys, get over it. He’s obviously got what it takes to win the heart of Sheylara, which in my opinion makes him a total legend. Plus, I think he looks like someone one out of an old Kung Fu movie. And that can only be a good thing.

Apparently Sheylara and The Goonfather are already married with children so of course they are sleeping together like DOH!
Anyway… Love is not about who is worthy of who. In a relationship, the most important thing is that both parties genuinely love each other and that, I truly believe that is enough :)
When you love someone, you don’t need a reason why. You just love him/her. You will disregard all the minor details that in fact mean nothing at all.
Those people with negative comments, bet you all have never fallen in love before right?
And why do you care so much about their blissful family life anyway?? They are happy and that’s all that matters.
i know this is as old as time but i just recently followed the goon father and shey! holy shit! u guys are amazing together, i have been seeing my partner which eventually became my wife for the last 10 years and hopefully till death do us part now, we have a son together and cannot be happier, like sheylara and gf, my wife is petite, small and imo the most beautiful person in the world and i am (by my own admission) is the furthest thing apart from being don juan. so for all you f-heads up there dissing the gf you can go and get f-ed! love u both! gf and shey! ever in australia, give me a buzz! ooo btw, you got my wife and i hooked on your blog! especially anything with the goonfather we like! :)
