I’ve eaten nothing but buns today (from Four Leaves bakery), mainly because up to now, I’ve only had time for one meal.

So, I’ve decided to do a chicken post because eating carbo makes me crave meat.

Ooh meat.

Whatever was I thinking?

That was a picture of a dish called Hot Hot Drum from a chicken chain called BBQ chicken.

It’s a funny sort of a chicken chain. For starters, the restaurant is called BBQ chicken but only like 20% of its menu is actually bbq chicken. The bulk of the menu features fried chicken coated in different sauces.

The Hot Hot Drum isn’t as hot (spicy) as it claims but it tastes good. Here’s another one that tastes good:

This is the Teri-Q Wings and it’s making me cry now because I want to eat it but I can’t eat a picture.

So how about a picture of me eating it?

Ooh, I lied. That’s not me eating the Teri-Q Wings. That’s me eating the Original Chicken, which is quite blah, so don’t waste your time on it.

You can waste your time on this, instead:

I shan’t tell you what it is because it’s pretty obvious, duh.

The photos above were taken three months ago. Haha. I just found them in my hard disk. I haven’t gone back to BBQ Chicken ever since, because the Goonfather isn’t much of a chicken person. Which is quite alright because I very much prefer him being a human person.

That is, you know what I mean.

So, we didn’t eat any bbq chicken that day, despite the name of the restaurant being BBQ chicken, because the menu hyped up the fried chicken more than it did the bbq chicken. Silly, ain’t it?

Them Koreans. They’re just so weird!

BBQ Chicken is touted as being “Korea’s No. 1 Chicken Restaurant”. That’s what it says all over the restaurant. Anyone’s been to Korea can testify to this?

If you’re interested in giving it a try, there are two outlets now at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard and Downtown East. Two more are supposedly opening up in Northpoint and Tampines One but I don’t know when.

Please try the Ginseng Power Crisp (or maybe even the *gasp* bbq chicken) and tell me if it’s nice.

And I shall now end this entry very abruptly because it’s the chicken thing to do.
