Day 12

Name of outfit: High Tea

Self-Rating:

Destination: Photoshoot by Justyn Olby

Notes: I don’t know if you can tell, but I’m kinda running out of clothes. Hahaha. I mean, I still have a lot of clothes lah, but I don’t really like them that much. I used to wear this top a lot when my favourite colour was blue. But now I don’t really like it anymore.

It’s kinda weird how, after wearing a piece of clothing for some time, “favourite” becomes “yuck”. This is something I’ve been trying to figure out for ages but can’t really get a handle on.

That’s why, nowadays, I like to buy very cheap clothes so I can wear it for a while, get sick of it, and throw it away or use it as a rag or something.

I bought this top for like S$7 a year ago and have worn it everywhere, for every ocassion, from work to shopping to formal dinners to disco parties. You can’t quite tell from the photo but it’s actually a striped top (blue and white) and it’s about time it got retired.

Love, Sheylara

Mamamia.. another eye turner :) but I think u look great in whatever outfit u don on lah. That figure is model material.. but curious lah, why your skirt got number hah, u went for a competition or wat. Changing clothes frequently .. is pretty normal for a lady leh but hope not change bf that often ;(

  2. modchip says:

Beautiful, seductive. 4/5 stars from me. :D

  3. Minou says:

Hmm…if you need outfits with a different kind of feel, u can always come and raid my wardrobe. They might be a little too big though. :p
And you can also raid my library of DS games!

  4. Jesta says:

Blue still suits you, and the whole white and baby-blue thing really goes with your youthful, cute looks…

  5. desmond!! says:

Yea, I do ‘yuck’ at my some of my past favourite clothes too! Don’t know why. I used to buy clothes that are in very dull colours like dark green, dark blue, black, etc. Now I prefer clothes of brighter colours. =/

Anyway, I think that’s a great outfit! Looks good on you.

  6. misha says:

jiejie .. your legs are so long :)

  7. Steffi says:

Somehow the comic “Archies” popped into my mind… cute!

  8. Qiaoyun says:

Starstruck: Aww thanks, that’s sweet of you to say. Skirt got number is not uncommon right? Lots of clothes nowadays got some stupid random numbers. I also dunno what it means. Haha.

modchip: Hah, thanks. :) That’s more stars than I expected!

Minou: Wow, serious~!? I love your big big wardrobe leh. I think you have really pretty stuff!

Jesta: Hmm… doesn’t pink and white go with cute better? :P

desmond: Cool! I’m glad I’m not alone with this kinda weird thinking. Haha. Thanks!

misha: Hmm… I guess, since everyone says so. lol.

Steffi: Hah, funny this makes you think of Archie. That used to be my favroutie comic!

  9. Minou says:

Haha…the wardrobe not so big lar.
Yup, you are welcomed anytime. :)

  10. Firenze says:

That is a stunning fashion shot. So interesting how the ” look” in fashion can be so different in the east. I’ve spent a lot of time in SE Asia, and the best way to tell people’s country is clothes, not physical appearance (this coming from an American).

  11. Qiaoyun says:

Firenze: Thanks! :) I don’t think I dress very typically Singaporean, though. I don’t know. I change my style all the time. I think I have an identity crisis. :P

  12. Firenze says:

I love the way you dress.
