Queueing with a book is great. Sometimes I love it when there's a queue like at the bank or post office and I can just spend the time reading my book. But what about those people who don't read or play PSP or anything and just stand in line doing nothing for 4 hours? That lady you met is pretty cool!

Not true that queuing alone is silly. I queued alone every year for the Lim Chee Guan bak kwa – because my mother will only eat that bak kwa. And even after she was gone I continue to queue as it has become a yearly ritual.

It is OK to queue alone as I can read a book – just bring a book that you always wanted to read and never get to finish reading it to the queue.

There was once a lady (stranger) queuing behind me – she brought newspaper/magazines and food and a little mat to sit and she shared the food and the magazines with us and we just engage in silly conversation for a couple of hours.

And this year I didnt have to queue as someone was selling queue nos.

I won’t queue for donuts unless it is requested by someone I love.

Donuts with fresh cream or cream products may not keep very well.

HKQs were crazy, weren’t they? Those were really scary queues. Donut queues? Pffft, child’s play! Heh.

Good thing I got my HK pair via coupon. ;)

eh, from what I’ve tried, I kept donuts for 1 whole day…
As in say get the donuts ard 5pm, keep until next day ard 9pm.
Technically speaking, with that much sweet stuff on them, they’re pretty much preserved in a way.
But best not to keep long cos u dunno whether the donuts still taste nice anot.

& oh, best if can heat up oso. =)

Huh? When did I say I bought Donut Factory? I only talk about wanting to queue, haven’t actually done it. I’ve never tasted Donut Factory before leh.

Well, I think if I queue for upwards of 2 hours, I’m going to buy 2 dozen. Haha. Then I’ll have to throw a donut party and invite people or I won’t be able to finish it, lol.

By the way, how long can the donuts keep before they don’t taste good anymore?

anyway just curious. how many donuts u bought this time @ donut factory?
cos my fren & i we were laughing at their ‘set meal’ package of 2 donuts & 1 drink, since it’ll be NUTS to queue for 2+++++++ hrs and then order so little.

The Goonfather: Hello, it’s different. I grew up getting used to playing games on the big screen, so small screen sucks. Like now if I ask you to throw away your projecter and downgrade to a 15″ TV, I think you’ll cry. Hahaha.

Whereas for books, I’ve been reading size 10 fonts since I was born so it’s just the natural order of things.
