Ruok> Well, that’s normal :P
acroamatic> no leh, as I said, they were looking for 40+ mothers.
Starlandliu> I’m ok when they cast me as young mother or young housewife or young pregnant teacher but something is wrong when they want a 40+ yr old mother and they come looking for me, right? O_o
Haiyahhhh stop it with the hair already. You not tired meh? You don’t own me or my hair so you have no right to dictate how I should look!
And, even if I were to cut my hair the way you like it, what would it gain me? Would you give me a million bucks? Would you give me a leading role in a movie?
If not, then I don’t see how you have any right to complain about my hair! =P

Hi, do forgive me if I sound completely out of my depth, but don’t actors and actresses pray for the good fortune of mis-cast roles? The fact that you don’t look 40 and are required to audition for a role which requires you to be 40 should spur you sufficiently to want to give it a good go. I reckon that’s how actors and actresses find motivation and inspiration in their career - to excel in a role they aren’t accustomed to. You should really treasure these warped opportunities as they come, because the largest bane for any performer is to be typecast or stereotyped within a certain dramatic framework.
All the best in your pursuit of performing art!

Ouch! Maybe they were search for a young-looking mother? You don’t even look 30…
It is hard to escape the role of aunties and uncles since you are an actress.
